Every year, the Silk in Lyon festival is held in Lyon to promote silk and its expertise to the general public. The 2023 edition, held from 16 to 19 November, was a unique opportunity to optimize the international agendas of professional and institutional players in this exceptional material:

These events attracted representatives from 16 countries and regions, including France, Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, Japan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Ghana, Romania, Spain, Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya, and China.
On November 15, at Gadagne Museum (Lyon):
- the 2023 ISU Members Assembly, in the morning
- the "International Forum on Sericulture Silk Industry Development Trend", organized by International Silk Union (ISU), Silky Cities and Silk in Lyon
- the Silky cities genaral assembly
On November 16 :
- The AIUFFASS meeting which brought together some forty members of our association from Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany in Campus Région du Numérique (Lyon - Charbonnières-les-bains)
- The visit of ESMODE, design school in Lyon as well as LES TISSAGES PERRIN, a leading silk weaving company, well known AIUFFASS members, that combines talents, techniques and technologies in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the seat of the family business from five generations since 1929.
- The tour of Silk in Lyon festival at Palais de la Bourse and the opening cocktail "Estime de soie"
