Internation Silk Symposium

AIUFFASS was invited by China Silk Association to attend the International Silk Symposium, held in Suzhou (China).The International Silk Symposium was organized in Suzhou on 30^st and 31^rd March by the Chinese Silk Association chaired by Mr. Yang Yongyuan, President, as an introduction to the ISO meeting (ISO TC 38 SC23 WG5). The Silk Section of AIUFFASS took part with the attendance of the two expert referents, Francesco Gatti and Jacques Poulenard. The theme of this symposium was Silk Standard and innovation of test technology. The main topics raised included the practice and development of ISO 15625 “Electronic test method for defects and evenness of raw silk” as well as the classification technology for raw silk by the electronic test method.
