The 11th annual public conference of the Textile ETP takes place on 13-14 April 2016 in Brussels. The event is entitled Boosting Regional Textile Innovation in Europe. It will be the first public showcase of our newly launched Cross-regional Textile Innovation Initiative. The plan is to use the Textile ETP as a catalyst for strengthening regional textile innovation capacities across Europe by better deployment of Smart Specialisation funds and by more cross-regional collaboration and peer-to-peer learning.
The event will bring together regional policy makers from Europe's foremost textile regions as well as companies, clusters, industry associations, technology, research, education and training organisations which sustain the regional textile innovation machines across Europe. Presentations on new Regional Innovation Support Policies and many Industrial Success Stories will underpin the importance of the regional dimension to the sustainance of textile and clothing industry growth and jobs in Europe.
